Allow us to say right from the start: this Web site is for fun. We've been on safari with our cameras and we've caught some grammatical, spelling, punctuation and usage errors in the wild. We're not trying to defame anyone; our purpose is to point out some errors, learn a few things and share some laughs.

On Grammar Safari, we spot errors in signage, advertisements and other public places where...well, errors really shouldn't happen. If spotted, we'll take a photo and post it to The Zoo.

Nobody likes tall tales about a safari that never happened. As such, it would be lying if we snapped photos of perfectly correct signage but then used software to alter the photos to make it appear as if a grammatical mistake had occurred. Please be assured that the photos on this site are the real thing. No images have been altered, except for dodging out contact information or other details so that we can protect people's privacy or save embarrassment.
